Diddy Dirty Money, the newest musical group from Sean “P. Diddy” Combs, is embarking on a U.S. Tour hitting some of the hottest venues in the country. Following up the debut of Last Train to Paris last year, the 2011 Diddy Dirty Money tour seems like its going to be a very big deal in what so far has been a a bit of a weak market for hip hop tours. There’s a big demand for Diddy Dirty Money tickets right now and that seems to be a rising trend. But with perhaps the most influential man in music pimpin’ a brand new sound, Diddy Dirty Money looks to be blazing a new trail in the evolving live music arena.
And if you buy Diddy Dirty Money tickets it looks like you are going to get an up-close-and-personal experience. “You’re gonna be able to see my eyes,” Diddy told MTV. “You’re gonna be able to smell my cologne. You’re gonna be able to look at the ladies and see their caramel complexion. You’re gonna be able to hear their voices. You’re gonna be up close and personal, baby. It’s super HD.”
The 2011 Coming Home Tour starts on on April 13 in Minneapolis, with stops in Detroit, Boston, New York, Orlando, San Francisco, Los Angeles and the tour ends in Saint Louis on May 15. The demand for Diddy Dirty Money tickets is expected to be strong, so you might want to grab yours soon.
Diddy Dirty Money is comprised, of course, of Sean “Diddy” Combs, who enlisted Dawn Richard and Kalenna Harper to round-out the roster. No surprise that they are signed to Bad Boy Records. As an up and coming force in the hip hop world, Diddy Dirty Money has worked with some of the big names in hip hop, including T.I., Usher, Drake, Lil Wayne and many more. Being associated with these artists is definitely going to help with selling Diddy Dirty Money tickets, and there are more well known artists that have worked with the band. And if you make it to a Diddy Dirty Money concert, you might see one or two of their familiar artists stop by. Other acts that Diddy has tapped on the Dirty Money project include Nicki Minaj, Swizz Beatz, Chris Brown, Skylar Grey, Wiz Khalifa, Rick Ross, Trey Songz, Justin Timberlake and many more.
When Puffy formed Diddy Dirty Money he was looking at creating a new musical genre. He calls the band “a look, a sound, a movement, and a crew.” He counted on Dawn Richard and Kalenna Harper in order to help round out the sound, as well as provide a woman’s point of view. Dawn Angeliqué Richard, who grew up in Haiti, was formerly a member of Danity Kane. Kalenna has won four Russian Grammy Awards, and is also hard at work on her solo career.
Aiming to create a new musical genre , tentatively being called “futuristic soul,” Diddy Dirty Money combines Italian-disco, pop-rap, house music, and the hip hop sounds that harp back to Diddy’s time with the Notorious B.I.G. The band had a few appearances before releasing the first album, Last Train to Paris, which was released in December 2010 and debuted at number seven on Billboard. Singles from the album include Angels, Hello Good Morning, Loving You No More and Coming Home.
The Coming Home Tour is the coming out party for Diddy Dirty Money, and you can get a front row seat to see what could be the biggest new band of the 2010′s. Get your tickets for the Diddy Dirty Money concerts and see the show everyone is talking about.
